The police have reclassified the case involving a corporal’s assault on a fellow soldier Amirul Raziq Rosafindi at a military camp in Bentong, Pahang, to murder following the victim’s death this morning.

In a statement, Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar said following confirmation of the 24-year-old victim’s death, the investigation has been re-classified from Section 325 to Section 302 of the Penal Code.
