A staggering 78 percent increase in ransomware cases in the country during the fourth quarter of 2024 has sounded the alarm on the growing complexity and scale of cyber threats, said Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo.

He said the surge highlights a critical need for a united international front in combating cybercrime.
