The Seremban Sessions Court today sentenced a senior citizen to a total of 36 years in jail and given six strokes of the cane for committing physical sexual assault on his 12-year-old niece.

Judge Surita Bidin handed down the sentence on the 63-year-old man after he pleaded guilty to six counts of committing the offence on the girl.
