Bersatu supreme council member Rais Yatim today publicly questioned Dewan Rakyat speaker Azhar Azizan Harun's decision to write a letter to the court to consider adjourning Najib Abdul Razak's trial earlier to allow him to attend Parliament.

In a tweet today, Rais said the incident might set a precedent which would allow MPs to be given special exemption from scheduled court proceedings.
