KINILENS | Some 50 Rohingya families at a refugee centre near Kampung Sri Makmur Sri Gombak in Selayang today received food aid from NGO Human Aid Selangor Society.

A spokesperson for the families, Rafik Shah Mohd Ismail, said almost 100 ethnic Rohingya families are facing a food shortage for the duration of the ongoing movement control order.

Necessities handed over today to the community included rice, cooking oil, sugar and flour.

"If there are no funds and donations, the families will go hungry for the whole period of the MCO," lamented Rafik.
