KINILENS | The business premises around the site of the sinkholes on Jalan Masjid India remain closed under the authorities’ orders as rescue personnel continue their search for an Indian tourist, identified as Vijayaletchumy, 48, who went missing after falling into an 8m-deep hole on Friday (Aug 23) morning.

A quick survey in the vicinity sealed-off zone finds almost all businesses in Malayan Mansion are shut.

However, business continues to be brisk at the back of the Malayan Mansion building as shoppers throng nearby commercial centres around Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
