Mohamed Azmin Ali clocks out on his last official day as Selangor menteri besar, a post he has held for just under four years.
Though Azmin was sworn in as the menteri besar after the recent general election, his subsequent appointment as economic affairs minister in Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's cabinet meant he had to relinquish the post.
Earlier today, Azmin submitted the name of his replacement to Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, with an official announcement due tomorrow.
