A former X-ray technician will be taking legal action against Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for alleged lapses in standard operating procedures (SOPs) resulting in a "cancer cluster".

Universiti Malaya, which has jurisdiction over the medical centre, has denied all allegations.
