Bangladesh high commissioner to Malaysia Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury yesterday thanked Malaysian employers for placing continued confidence in Bangladeshi manpower, highlighting expatriate workers' vital contribution to Malaysia's economy and Bangladesh's development.

He made the remark when the Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur observed International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day 2025 under the theme "Going abroad with skills, building the homeland with remittances", according to a message received in Dhaka, reported Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).
