Putrajaya has directed all liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities operating in Bintulu, Sarawak, to immediately tighten security controls, following threats made against such facilities.

In a statement today, the National Security Council (NSC) confirmed it had received notification of security threats against LNG facilities in the nation, particularly in Bintulu.
