MCMC has clarified that former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin is only being investigated as witness, not as a suspect, in an ongoing probe implicating him in a statement related to RON95 subsidies. 

“The investigation involves the contents of a TikTok account linking him to an allegation about targeted RON95 subsidies.
