DAP Youth has called for Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh to resign from his position as Malacca exco, accusing him of insulting disabled persons and using diversionary tactics when criticised.

In a statement today, DAP Youth organisation secretary Lim Zheng Han said that Akmal's actions were clearly intended to divert attention, after he suggested that disabled person cards be given to DAP Youth, and mocked it for allegedly not understanding Bahasa Malaysia.
