Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has urged the government to formally reject the nomination of far-right commentator Nick Adams as the next United States ambassador to Malaysia.

In a statement today, the Bersatu lawmaker described the nomination, announced on July 10 by US president Donald Trump, as “deeply troubling and unacceptable”, citing Adams’ controversial track record and lack of diplomatic experience.
