Former law minister Zaid Ibrahim has called on PKR deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar to clarify her proposal for a tribunal to probe the alleged leak of Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) meeting minutes, which implicated a senior judge in judicial interference.
He said that while taking action against the named judge may be relatively straightforward, the more “explosive” matter is the need for a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to investigate possible systemic abuse.
