United States’ sanctions against a United Nations human rights expert are unacceptable and set a dangerous precedent, said a UN spokesperson on Thursday, reported Xinhua.

Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres, said this in response to US sanctions on Francesca Albanese, UN special rapporteur on the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territory.
