The Malaysian Bar has outlined several suggestions for the government’s consideration amid its use of anonymised mobile phone data for policymaking.

In a statement yesterday, Bar president Ezri Abdul Wahab said there is a pressing need for the government to address a lack of public confidence in the authorities’ ability to safeguard personal data.
