Two people were killed and 17 others injured after a Mexican ship collided with the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, according to Reuters, with two of those hurt in critical condition.

New York mayor Eric Adams was quoted as saying that the vessel, known as the Cuauhtemoc, lost power before the collision on Saturday evening.
