Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal must immediately apologise and retract a "false and malicious" statement concerning the Putra Heights fire and the government's aid to victims, said Amanah secretary-general Faiz Fadzil.

Faiz zeroed in on Wan Fayhsal's (above) allegation that the fire had claimed lives and that the RM5,000 cash aid that the government had allocated to victims was an "insult".
