The prime minister has cancelled the Selangor-level Aidilfitri celebration scheduled on April 6 as a sign of respect for those affected by the gas pipeline inferno in Putra Heights recently, said the Prime Minister’s Office in a statement today.

“The prime minister had also instructed that the food prepared for the celebration be dished out to the related relief centres, as well as schools, boarding schools and homes sheltering senior citizens and orphans.
