NGO Rural Malaysia has called for closer monitoring and awareness surrounding the country’s gas infrastructure.

Its secretary-general Anuar Mahmod said the gas pipeline fire at Putra Heights today has underscored a pressing need to improve monitoring and maintenance of the infrastructure.
