Cabinet members kicked off the Chinese New Year celebrations earlier today with a lively “yee sang” tossing session after their final meeting before the holidays next week.

A series of videos released by Transport Minister Anthony Loke’s office shows several of his colleagues cheerfully taking part in the tradition, exchanging Chinese New Year greetings such as Xin Nian Kuai Le (Happy New Year), Wan Shi Ru Yi (May all go well), Gong Xi Fa Cai (Wishing you prosperity), and the Hokkien phrases “Heng ah, Ong ah, Huat ah” (symbolising prosperity, luck and fortune)...
