Public Private Partnership Unit director-general in the Prime Minister’s Department Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar has been appointed as the new chief secretary to the government, effective Aug 12.

In a statement today, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said Shamsul will be replacing Mohd Zuki Ali, whose two-year contract expires on Aug 11.
