The real truth of the matter is there was no real democratic by-election at all at Ijok. Barisan Nasional bought the votes. There was bribery, intimidation, fear, threats, the whole works used to force the simple rural folks of Ijok to make the difficult decision.

I am absolutely certain that if there was real democracy and fair play, PKR would have won hands down.

PKR, with so much against them, managed to get a substantial number of Ijokians to vote for them. This is a real achievement, a real win and Barisan, in spite of all their claims that they have won, have really lost and they know this.

They know they are corrupted, they know they have never delivered, they know they do not care, they know they can cheat and intimidate, they know they have to win at all costs, so they sold their souls to the devil.

Never mind. Let the general elections come. The urban folks are now more educated and well- informed. Maybe the only way to buy some folks over will be by offering thousands of ringgit per voter.

I can bet that come this next general election, BN will even sell Bank Negara to win. So to those who want a 'get rich quick scheme' here is Barisan for you!
