UPDATED 8.05PM |  The Health Ministry has reported 4,113 new Covid-19 cases up to noon today.

While Selangor is still in the lead with 1,269 cases, cases in the Klang Valley only accounts for about 38.8 percent of today's numbers.

Most other states and territories have each reported hundreds of cases throughout the country, with Sabah, Putrajaya, Labuan, and Perlis being the only exceptions.

  • Active cases: 41,471
  • Patients in ICUs: 482*
  • Intubated: 250
*This figure does not include "probable" or "suspected' Covid-19 cases. See here.

On the flip side, the number of active cases has dropped slightly due to 4,190 people having recovered from the infection.

This bucks a 37-day trend since April 7 where active cases increased continuously from 14,097 cases that day to 41,582 cases yesterday.

The number of patients who require ICU admission or ventilation is still increasing, however, beating yesterday's record-highs.
