OFFICES

- Q Sentral, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur

An occupant of Level 13A tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 25, the management said in a notice.

The person was last at Q Sentral on Dec 16.

As a precaution, the affected office unit will be sanitised. 


SCHOOLS

- Madrasah Daril Naim, Kota Bharu, Kelantan

This religious residential school is placed under enhanced movement control order from Dec 29 to Jan 11 due to a rise in Covid-19 cases there, the National Security Council announced.


SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

- Royal Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur

A clerk in the finance department tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 27.

The administration office is closed from Dec 23 to 30, general manager Shamsul Kamar Ahmad said in a notice to members today.

Most of the staff are on year-end leave, but those who had close contact with the clerk are undergoing Covid-19 testing today, he added.

The administration office block including the function rooms, admin washrooms and staff canteen will be sanitised by a professional disinfection company. 


RESIDENCES

- Pangsapuri Suria Magna, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

A resident here has tested positive, the management said.

The person's family is undergoing quarantine at home.

All common areas are disinfected. 

- Puri Aiyu Condominium, Shah Alam, Selangor

A resident at Block B of this Seksyen 22 condominium tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 25.

The management said they have disinfected common areas in Blocks A and B and the management office.

All common facilities are closed starting Dec 25 until further notice while all ongoing renovations must be suspended immediately, it said in a notice.

- Pangsapuri Vista Lavender, Taman Kinrara, Selangor

Five residents have tested positive at Blocks A, A1, B, C and G respectively, the management told residents in a notice today.

All gatherings are barred while no visitors are allowed for the time being, it said.

The case at Block G was announced by the management in an update late in the afternoon.

- Kampung Paginatan and Kampung Maringkan, Ranau, Sabah

These villages are under enhanced movement control order (MCO) after a spike in Covid-19 cases detected there, the National Security Council announced.

- Pangsapuri Sri Jinjang II, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Level 8, Block C tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice today.


BUSINESSES

- Auto Global Parts Industries Sdn Bhd (AGP), Meru, Klang, Selangor

The metal parts production factory's parent company New Hoong Fatt Holdings Bhd announced in a Bursa filing today that the factory has been closed from Dec 25 until further notice to contain a Covid-19 outbreak, including disinfection works at the factory and workers' hostels and informing suppliers and customers.

It said 94 AGP employees had tested positive for the disease during a mass screening exercise on Dec 24 involving 314 employees.

- Bangsar Market, KL Eco City Mall, Kuala Lumpur

A Covid-19 case was detected at Bangsar Market by Jaya Grocer, located at this mall.

This is according to a notice put up at the supermarket.

According to KL Eco City Mall management, it has yet to receive further details from Jaya Grocer, but the supermarket is closed for the time being.

The mall is open and was sanitised completely yesterday. 

- NZ Wheels Johor Bahru Autohaus, Johor

A staff member here has tested positive, the management said in a notice to customers on Dec 27.

All other staff at this branch will undergo Covid-19 testing immediately while the branch is temporarily closed for sanitisation.

- Bank Simpanan Nasional, Kok Lanas and Kuala Krai branches, Kelantan

The branches are closed from Dec 28 to Jan 10 for sanitation after staff were exposed to Covid-19 patients, the bank said.

All automatic teller machines (ATM) and cash deposit machines (CDM) will start operating on Jan 11 at 11am, it said.

Kok Lanas customers who need urgent services are urged to visit the Melor branch, while Kuala Krai customers can visit the Machang branch.


MARKETS

- Pasar Besar Kedai Payang, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu

Three visitors to this market have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past week, said Kuala Terengganu MP Ahmad Amzad Hashim.

As such, he urges visitors to take precaution by ensuring they wear a face mask at all times, there is physical distancing among and to register themselves using MySejahtera or in physical record books.

Ahmad Amzad said Terengganu health director Dr Nor Azimi Yunus confirmed all 126 Pasar Payang traders screened for Covid-19 are not infected.

Nevertheless, such reminders are necessary because Terengganu is experiencing an "unusual" spike in year-end visitors and Pasar Payang is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike, he said.
