UPDATED 8.15PM | COVID-19 | The Health Ministry today reported 958 new Covid-19 cases as of noon today and three deaths.
Sabah reported the most number of new cases (53.4 percent) followed by the Klang Valley region (29.9 percent) and Negeri Sembilan (16 percent).
Slightly over two-thirds of the new cases in Sabah were from close contacts and a single cluster (Sabaru).
In the Klang Valley, the Hentian cluster, which refers to the Kajang bus station, was the cluster with the most new cases today (114) followed by the Perigi cluster (50), which involved a factory.
The Teratai cluster, which involved the Top Glove factory in the Kapar district, had 18 new cases today.

- Patients in intensive care - 110 (unchanged)
- Intubated patients - 42 ↑ (5 more than previous day)
- Deaths - 3
Three deaths were reported in Sabah today bringing the cumulative Covid-19 death toll for the territory to 186, or 56.53 percent of the national total (329).
The youngest of the three victims was a 32-year-old Malaysian female who passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
From her case number (39,871), she was likely diagnosed between Nov 7 and Nov 8.
The two other victims - a Malaysian male, 39, and a foreign male, 64, both passed away at the Tawau Hospital. Both were diagnosed more recently and both had comorbidity.
As for testing, yesterday, 62 laboratories had a capacity of processing 59,485 RT-PCR tests of which 26,661 were conducted or 45 percent of capacity.
In Sabah alone, three laboratories conducted 3,960 tests which is a 144 percent overcapacity.
The Health Ministry does not release testing data for other regions.
Of the 958 new cases, five were imported. A breakdown of the locally transmitted cases are as follows:

Pahang and Perlis did not report any new cases.
There are currently 167 active Covid-19 clusters in the country of which 47 had new cases reported today and five new clusters were recorded.
The Kasir cluster (Tawau district in Sabah) has 28 cases. The index case had symptoms and tested positive on Nov 20.
The Sri Jujur cluster (Klang, Sepang, and Petaling districts in Selangor) has 41 cases, of which 36 were foreigners. The index case was tested at the person's workplace on Nov 8.
The OAD cluster (Seremban, Jelebu, Kuala Pilah and Jempol districts in Negeri Sembilan; Hulu Langat district in Selangor) has 11 cases. The index case had symptoms and tested positive on Nov 10.
The Enggor cluster (Kerian, Kuala Kangsar, Batang Padang, and Kinta districts in Perak) has 12 cases. The index case had symptoms and tested positive on Nov 20.
The Makmur cluster (Kulai and Johor Bahru districts in Johor) has six cases. The index case had symptoms and tested positive on Nov 19.
Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah's next press briefing is scheduled for Monday (Nov 23).
