CMCO in Klang Valley extended to Nov 9, Nilai now under restrictions

COVID-19 | The conditional movement control order (MCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will be extended until Nov 9.

The conditional MCO was set to expire at midnight before Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the extension.

A conditional MCO has also been enforced in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan effective Oct 28 until Nov 10.

An enhanced MCO is also in force in Putra Point Nilai at Jalan BBN 1/7B, Jalan BBN 1/7F, Jalan BBN 1/2E.

The areas under enhanced MCO in Putra Point Nilai covered two foreign workers dormitories.

On the situation in Sabah, Ismail announced a two-week extension to the enhanced MCO in Taman Khazanah Indah and Pangsapuri Mutiara Kasih, Lahad Datu, as well as in Felda Umas, Kalabakan, from Oct 27 to Nov 9.

Meanwhile, two localities in Sandakan - Taman Mesra and Taman Mawar - will be placed under enhanced MCO from Oct 20 to Nov 10.

The enhanced MCO in these two areas comprises 5,100 houses and 22,500 people.
