Below are verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

However, the list does not include locations that have been closed temporarily pending results of swab tests on persons under investigation.

These locations have also been duly sanitised.

Residences

- Suasana Lumayan Condominium, Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of block A tested positive on Oct 12, the management said

- Bayu Tasik Condominium, Kuala Lumpur

A resident has tested positive and taken to Hospital Sungai Buloh for treatment on Oct 12, the management said in a notice to residents.

Government premises

- Cheras district police headquarters

Nineteen police personnel attached to the Cheras police headquarters have tested positive for Covid-19, the Kuala Lumpur police chief confirms.

It is learned that the cases were detected through contact tracing activities after police personnel there tested positive earlier.

The health office also said all those who tested positive have been isolated, and decontamination works have been done at the building.

It said the police headquarters is still open to the public, but members of the public who have business there are subjected to more stringent SOPs.

- Menara DBKL 1, Jalan Raja Laut, KL

A staff member tested positive on Oct 12. The building remains open and has been sanitised.

- Inland Revenue Board headquarters, Jalan Sultan Abdul Halim (Jalan Duta), KL

A tested positive on Oct 12. It is learnt that the staff has direct contact with every department in the building.

Last night, the IRB announced its premises will be closed until Oct 16 for disinfection. 

Schools and learning centres

- Kumon, Putra Heights

A student tested positive on Oct 9 after contact with an infected family member, the management told Malaysiakini.

The student was last at the learning centre on Oct 5.

The centre was closed beginning Oct 9 for sanitation and classes were moved online.

Businesses

- Public Bank Kota Damansara

A Public Bank employee attached to its Kota Damansara Branch tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, according to a statement by the bank on its website.

It said that the staff had not reported to work since Oct 7, and all other employees who had close contact were placed under home quarantine. The branch is now temporarily closed for sanitisation works.

- Bank Muamalat, Kota Kinabalu branch

Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd has confirmed that one of its employees at the Kota Kinabalu branch has tested positive for Covid-19.

As a precautionary measure, all co-workers who have been in direct contact with the employee has been asked to self-quarantine at home for the next 14 days.

The branch, located at the Aeropod Commercial Square, Jalan Kepayan in Kota Kinabalu has been closed to facilitate sanitisation and cleaning procedures.

Public access facilities

- Sunway Lost World of Tambun theme park, Ipoh

The theme park will be temporarily closed for 14 days beginning Oct 13 after a visitor is suspected to have tested positive for Covid-19.

The management said the matter was disclosed by the Health Ministry yesterday and close contact tracing is being carried out.

Both the theme park and the Sunway Lost World Hotel will be closed until Oct 26 to facilitate cleaning works for both premises.
