Teluk Intan MP Nga Kor Ming has resigned as the deputy speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, in solidarity with the newly-ousted speaker Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof.

This is just ahead of the motion to remove Nga as the deputy speaker which was supposed to be tabled after the lunch break which will end at 2.30pm.
