Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob today announced a seventh enhanced movement control order (MCO) around Selayang Baru in Selangor.The latest enhanced MCO effectively expands the radius around the Kuala Lumpur wholesale market that is currently under full lockdown."The seventh enhanced MCO is aimed at curbing the spread of Covid-19 after considering the infections at the Kuala Lumpur daily and wholesale market," he told a press conference in Putrajaya today.The enhanced MCO commences today until May 3.The affected areas are:Zone A: Jalan Indah 3 and Jalan Indah 5A, Selayang Indah, Gombak, SelangorZone B: Jalan Indah 21, Lembah Indah, Selayang Baru, Gombak, SelangorZone C: Jalan Besar Selayang Baru, Jalan 1 and Jalan Indah 21, Selayang Baru, Gombak, SelangorZone D: Jalan 3, 5, 7 and 9, Selayang Baru, Gombak, SelangorZone E: Jalan 2, 4, 6 and 8, Selayang Baru, Gombak, SelangorZone F: Block A, B and C, Selayang Makmur, Gombak, Selangor'Food aid delivered today'Ismail also said he was informed by Women, Family and Community Development Minister Rina Harun that food aid for affected residents has been distributed by related agencies from earlier today."We have started the distribution today. 





"We closed the area today and we started distribution immediately so there is no issue of food shortage and others," Ismail said, adding that residents could request extra supplies including baby milk formula or diapers through the enhanced MCO operation centre.Previously, the <a href="https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/521582" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">sixth enhanced MCO</a> was declared on April 20 which affected a smaller area around the Kuala Lumpur wholesale market.On Thursday, Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa <a href="https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/522248" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">apologised</a> for the initial shortage in food aid distribution in the first two days.
