Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak, his wife Rosmah Mansor and daughter Nooryana Najwa visited Bank Negara this morning to inspect items seized from them in 2018 as part of the 1MDB investigation.

According to The Star Online, they arrived at 9.15am in separate vehicles.

Police had in June 2018 seized RM116.7 million in 26 currencies, 567 luxury handbags, 423 watches, 234 sunglasses and 10,114 pieces of jewellery following a raid on condominium units linked to the family at the Pavilion Residences in Kuala Lumpur.

Police had said the items were valued at least RM686.37 million with a retail value of close to RM1 billion.

Some of the items are being stored at a vault in Bank Negara for safekeeping pending undergoing court cases.

Najib is accused of misappropriating RM2.28 billion in funds from state-owned 1MDB when he was the prime minister.

The prosecution has set Feb 22, 23, 29 and March 1 for Najib's family to inspect the items.

Najib's legal team had asked for two weeks to inspect the items but High Court Judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan said the time provided by the prosecution is reasonable.
