Four more coronavirus patients make full recovery

CORONAVIRUS | Four more people who were previously diagnosed with coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) have made a full recovery today, said Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.

Alhamdullilah. Four individuals who had Covid-19 that are cases 1, 2, 3 and 5 have been allowed to be discharged today.

“The total number of Covid-19 cases who have made a full recovery and discharged is now seven out of 19 individuals who were infected with the Covid-19,” Dzulkefly said in a posting on Twitter today.

Cases 1, 2, 3 and 5 are a family from China who arrived in Malaysia from Singapore during the Chinese New Year holidays, consisting of a 66-year-old woman, her two grandchildren aged 11 and two years old and her 36-year-old daughter-in-law.

Three other cases had made a full recovery before this - a four-year-old girl, a 40-year-old man and a 63-year-old man. All three are China nationals.

Another China national tested positive for Covid-19 in Kuala Lumpur today, raising the number of reported cases in Malaysia to 19.
