KINI ROUNDUP | Key headlines you may have missed yesterday, in brief.

1. Malaysia recorded a second local human-to-human transmission with the 17th case of the novel coronavirus.

2. Malaysia extended the ban on travellers from the Zhejiang and Jiangsu province after an initial ban on visitors from the Hubei province where the novel coronavirus first started.

3. Teachers and students who have visited China recently are also required to self-quarantine for 14 days.

4. PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said it will discuss with Umno on a vote of confidence for Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad after Umno said it did not want to be a "busybody" in Pakatan Harapan's affairs.

5. Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa said sacked Umno supreme council member Lokman Adam had tried to put former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak against the Umno leadership.
