1. A male teenager burst into tears when he was ordered to enter his defence for the murder of 23 residents of a tahfiz centre in Kuala Lumpur, which caught fire in 2017. Another co-accused male teenager also broke down after he was acquitted on the same murder charges.

2. Embattled PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin was issued with a letter of demand by party secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution for alleged defamation. It was issued in his personal capacity over Zuraida's allegedly defamatory remarks against him.

3. Zuraida's supporters were invited to participate in solidarity gatherings in 10 locations across the country as she visits the party headquarters today to answer a show-cause letter issued by its disciplinary board.
