The cabinet has decided on an acting education minister, said Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.

However, he said he will leave it up to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to make the announcement.

"We did make a decision on that, but let the prime minister announce it," Lim said in a press conference at the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) building in Kuala Lumpur today.
