The future of the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) has come into question following the appearance of a suspension letter purportedly from the Registrar of Societies (ROS).

The letter, which has yet to be confirmed to be genuine, has been circulating in union and media circles and appears to be from the ROS to the MTUC saying that the latter has been suspended effective Dec 13.
