1. Deputy Home Minister Azis Jamman vowed to take action after a group revealed that they had brought back the remains of communist leader Chin Peng, who died in Thailand in 2013, to Malaysia more than two months ago and had scattered them.

2. Attorney-General Tommy Thomas hailed a court victory in the UK that would mean the legal dispute between 1MDB and the Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Company would play out in public instead of behind closed doors.
