1. The Malay Dignity Congress made thorny demands to the government, including that top government posts be reserved exclusively for Malays, while Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad admitted his government was not 'Malay enough'.

2. Mahathir also said that the congress was meant only to criticise Malays, but organiser Zainal Kling, in his speech, made several hardline remarks about Malay privileges.

3. A survey found that Pakatan Harapan's popular support had dropped to 35 percent, but Mahathir believes this is inaccurate.
