PKR deputy president Azmin Ali said party president Anwar Ibrahim should reflect on himself by looking in a mirror.

This is after Anwar suggested that Azmin should resign if a sex video implicating him was proven to be authentic.

"Read my lips - tell him, he must look at the man in the mirror," he told journalists at the Parliament lobby when asked to respond to Anwar's comment.

Pressed to elaborate on his comment, Azmin said Anwar needed self-reflection.

"Ask Anwar to self-reflect (muhasabah). Please reflect at his own face," he said.

Last month, former Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz (below) admitted that he was the man in a sex video and implicated Azmin as his male partner.

Azmin had dismissed the allegation as slander and said it was an attempt to destroy his political career.

He had also alluded that the move was an inside job.

Earlier today, Anwar said his initial position is that Azmin did not have to resign but should do so if the video is proven true

He had also repeatedly stressed that there were two aspects to the case - one was who circulated the video and the other was whether they were true or not.

Police, at present, is investigating who is responsible for making and circulating the sex video.

They have arrested several individuals including Haziq and also an aide to Anwar to facilitate investigations.
