1. Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador said the viral news about the arrest of fugitive businessperson Low Taek Jho was inaccurate.

2. Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar of Johor issued a rebuke against Johor Bahru MP Akmal Nasir for attending an interfaith buka puasa event at a Sikh temple, while de facto Islamic affairs minister Mujahid Yusof Rawa said Akmal doing so was a non-issue.
