1. Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak and DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang have agreed to a debate, though the details are still to be discussed and Lim is crowdsourcing for ideas.

2. Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan said it is not appropriate for the party grassroots to either pressure party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to take leave or resign, and urged that the status quo remains in place.

3. Malaysia has agreed to pay Singapore RM2 million to postpone the Rapid Transit System for six months in order to explore cheaper means to resolve the congestion problem at the border, including privatisation.
