Suggestions for the restoration of the travel blacklist against National Higher Education Loan Fund (PTPTN) loan defaulters have sparked an outcry, particularly as it runs contrary to Pakatan Harapan's manifesto.

However, some PTPTN borrowers said they have no qualms with the blacklist while others suggested a more convenient repayment method.

Nur Laila Rahmat, 28, said those who can afford to travel abroad should pay off their loan.

"I'm okay with the blacklist. There are some who want to go for overseas trips but do not want to pay PTPTN....
