1. The Federal Court has ordered the election petitions against Kimanis MP Anifah Aman and his nephew, the Sipitang MP Yamani Hafez Musa to go on trial as well as the Jasin election petition. It rejected appeals for the Pensiangan and Rantau election petitions.

2. DAP and PKR have rejected PAS’ allegations that Pakatan Harapan parties are plotting to oust Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad through a no-confidence vote, both suggesting that the claim is a PAS ploy to deflect attention from itself.

3. Without PAS splitting the vote, Bersatu is likely to face an uphill task to retain the Semenyih seat in the upcoming by-election.

4. Civil Defence Force trainee Narresh Rajandran told an inquest that he had seen marks on the deceased firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim that he believes to be shoe prints while rushing Adib to a hospital.

5. Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo said he would look into the transport minister’s aide Lim Swee Kuan’s claim that RTM had "sabotaged" the transport minister, while lawyer Latheefa Koya said Lim’s threats against the broadcaster “smacks of arrogance”.

6. The MACC met Court of Appeal judge Hamid Sultan Abu Backer regarding the latter’s affidavit alleging that members of the judiciary had plotted to defraud the government but the judge refused to have his statement recorded and insisted on a royal commission of inquiry instead.

7. Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister Dr Xavier Jayakumar said the moratorium on mining and exporting bauxite from Pahang will not be extended beyond its expiry date on March 31.

8. The government has agreed to pay Petaling Jaya MP Maria Chin Abdullah RM25,000 in damages for detaining her under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 but with no admission of liability by either the government or the police.

9. Advertising firm Nobleman Creations said its study has found that Pakatan Harapan is no longer dominating social media and former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak is doing far better than other Malaysian politicians.

10. Bersatu Semenyih candidate Muhammad Aiman Zainali clarified that he has yet to complete his PhD studies, but his LinkedIn profile states otherwise because he had not updated it after his expected graduation was delayed.
