Felda has launched the first edition of its anti-corruption and anti-misappropriation policy, which comes into effect this December.

The agency's corporate communications unit said the launching of the policy was in conjunction with Felda’s Integrity Day celebration today.

"This policy outlines the corrupt practices, conflict of interest, abuse of power and embezzlement which are prohibited by law for reference by all of Felda’s workforce to report wrongdoings,” it said in a statement.

It also said that Felda chairperson Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor had stated his commitment to ensuring that all businesses were conducted ethically, professionally and legally to add value to the interests of Felda settlers.

In conjunction with Integrity Day, a forum themed 'Felda heading for integrity', was also held and attended by about 800 of its officers and staff.
