The alleged tampering of the National Audit Department's report on 1MDB is a very serious issue and "frustrating" if true, Umno MP Khairy Jamaluddin said today.

The former Umno Youth chief said such an incident should not have happened as the auditor-general (Madinah Mohamad) should be free from any interference in making the report.
