Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has declared his assets at RM32.35 million, placing him in the second position among Pakatan Harapan lawmakers who have revealed their assets to date.

According to MACC's asset declaration website, DAP lawmaker (Beruas) Ngeh Khoo Ham topped the list with assets amounting to RM75.81 million.

Ngeh is a lawyer, who runs his own legal firm in Perak.

The MACC website did not provide a breakdown of the assets declared.

At present, 25 ministers and deputy ministers, as well as 13 Harapan lawmakers, have yet to declare their assets.

These include Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department Liew Vui Keong and P Waythamoorthy, Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah as well as Tourism, Art and Culture Minister Mohamaddin Ketapi.

The website also does not contain details on the assets of Mahathir's son, Mukhriz, who is also Kedah menteri besar.

However, the website has listed the monthly income of the abovementioned leaders.

Those who have yet to declare their incomes or assets are Deputy Federal Territories Minister Shaharuddin Md Salleh, Warisan president Shafie Apdal and PKR president-elect Anwar Ibrahim.

When met at Finance Ministry later, Lim expressed his puzzle as to why the details of his asset have not been uploaded into the asset declaration site.

According to him, he had furnished the details of his asset when he first submitted his asset declaration form to National Centre for Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption (GIACC).

This included the details of his income and assets, he said.

The asset declaration was initially supposed to have been published on Oct 1 but it was later postponed to Oct 15, and again to Nov 1.
