Najib storms out of 'unfair' interview

Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak walked out of an interview with Al Jazeera’s 101 East programme which he deemed to be "unfair".

During the interview, Najib reiterated that he had nothing to do with the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Questions were also raised regarding the authenticity of Najib's letters purportedly from a Saudi royal.

Najib challenged Putrajaya to make public 1MDB's settlement deals with IPIC.

Ngoo Teck Keong, the wild card in the MCA presidential race, promised to hand files on Najib's 2013 election handouts to MACC if he wins.

Zahid moots BN rebrand

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi mooted a name change for BN, as part of its mission to win the 15th general election.

Zahid is also considering giving BN membership to friendly parties such as the Indian Muslim Congress (Kimma).

Padang Rengas MP Nazri Abdul Aziz is the new BN secretary-general.

Bersatu supreme council member A Kadir Jasin hinted at rumours that Umno could lose up to 40 MPs.
