Despite an impending court case and being the focus of an extensive federal investigation, former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak took time off last night to celebrate his 65th birthday.

In honour of the fourth anniversary of the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, Najib paid tribute to those lost in the disaster during the birthday celebration at his Jalan Langgak Duta residence in Kuala Lumpur, which was attended by the families of several victime.
