Najib fumes over fridge-raiding cops

Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak alleged that cops searching his children's apartment units had acted unprofessionally and raided their fridge.

His wife Rosmah Mansor also called on police to plug leakages in the 1MDB probe.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department director Amar Singh vowed to take action if such allegations were true.

A news outlet said that Najib had lodged a police report claiming there were threats on his life, and that money seized in the police operations were donations for BN's election campaign.

Sirul offers tell-all on Altantuya for pardon

Fugitive former police commando Sirul Azhar Umar told Malaysiakini he is willing to reveal what transpired in the case of murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu – provided he is given a full pardon to travel back to Malaysia.

Editor of whistleblower site Sarawak Report, Clare-Rewcastle Brown is in Malaysia for the first time after being accused during the Najib administration of activities detrimental to parliamentary democracy.

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) reportedly ordered at least 11 internet service providers to block Malaysiakini’s election results websites on May 9.
