Zahid to negotiate Anwar's treatment

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and wife Hamidah Khamis visited jailed Pakatan Harapan de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim in hospital after the latter underwent a shoulder surgery.

Zahid said he will negotiate with the Health Ministry and Prisons Department on Anwar's treatment until he is fully recovered.

The Election Commission said postal voting will be expanded to include firefighters and health workers who are on duty on election day.

Bank wins suit over Najib link

Goldman Sachs Group Inc has won the dismissal of a US lawsuit brought by a private equity firm that accused the bank of trying to “curry favour” with Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

Foreign Minister Anifah Aman said Najib was seen as a trusted partner of the US and had received serious attention from President Donald Trump.

He added that China and the US had agreed to initiate talks on the code of conduct in the disputed South China Sea.

Police said those involved in Malaysia’s largest data theft had used an Oman internet protocol address.

Farmer in 'deity' video controversy speaks up

The farmer who was arrested for sharing a video attacking Deputy Education Minister Chong Sin Woon over his "deity" remark said government leaders should not fear criticism.
